THK new RSX miniature rails:
The miniature LM Guide "RSX" model series has added the smallest model RSX5, which not only expands the selection of slider lengths from RSX7 to 15, but also adds support for high-temperature guideway styles.
The miniature LM Guide "RSX" uses two steel ball rolling surfaces, and has achieved smoother linear motion by improving the structure of the circulation part of the current model. In addition, its compact structure is suitable for both space-saving use and single-axis use under torque.
New series models, including the smallest model RSX5, RSX7 ~ 15 short slider / long slider. In addition, in the RSX9, 12, and 15 models, the high temperature corresponding models expected by customers are added.
As a new series from THK, it has the following features:
compact design
Model RSX is equipped with one row on each side of the LM rail (two ball rolling surfaces in total), and adopts a compact structure with a low cross-sectional height of the LM rail, which can be installed in places that require space saving.
Superior rust resistance
The LM guide, LM block, and steel ball of the RSX type are made of stainless steel with good rust resistance.
Steel ball is not easy to fall off structure
The RSX type has a built-in ball holding wire, and when inserting and removing the LM block from the LM rail, the steel ball does not easily fall off, and the assembly is easy.
Specifications for high temperature developed with original technology (only for RSX9, 12, 15)
RSX9, 12, and 15 use original technology to achieve a maximum operating temperature of 150°C through special heat treatment of the materials of the LM block and LM guide. In addition, high temperature grease is used, and even if the temperature changes from normal temperature to high temperature, the change in rolling resistance is very small.
